01Purpose
These Terms govern the use of the Sceny service (the "Service") provided by Sceny (the "Company"). The Service is a web product for planning video projects and generating or editing images and video with artificial intelligence.
02Definitions
- Service
- The Sceny features in a web browser — video projects, recipes, character/object/scene assets, the canvas, agent chat, and image or video generation.
- Member
- A user who accepted these Terms and activated an account.
- Account
- The email confirmed through Google or another sign-in the Company offers, and the right to use the Service tied to it.
- Nickname
- The display name chosen for the Service.
- Content
- Text, images, video, and project or asset data a Member enters or uploads, or that the Service produces.
- Output
- An image or video a third-party AI model produces from a prompt or reference files.
- Credits
- In-service units consumed by some generation features. Paid products, if offered, will be announced separately.
03Effect and changes
- 01These Terms apply from the moment they are posted and the Member agrees during sign-up.
- 02The Company may change these Terms within the law. Material or unfavorable changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.
- 03A Member who disagrees may terminate the contract. Continued use after the effective date is treated as acceptance.
04Other rules
Matters not covered here follow the Privacy Policy and applicable Korean law, including the Content Industry Promotion Act, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the Network Act. The Service does not currently offer location-based features.
05Contract
- 01The contract is formed when the Member signs in with Google or another supported social login, sets a nickname, accepts the required policies, and the Company accepts the application. A password or phone number is not required to join.
- 02The Service is not available to anyone under 18.
- 03The Company may refuse or later terminate an account that impersonates another person, uses false information, or is used for abuse.
06The Service
The Company may provide the following. Details can change as the product improves.
- Plan a video project in conversation and edit cuts and flow on a canvas
- Start a project from a recipe
- Create character, object, and scene assets and reuse them across projects
- Use agent chat to help plan and generate
- Generate images and video through third-party AI models
- See a credit balance and, when offered, buy paid credits
The Service aims to run at all hours but may pause for maintenance, outages, or a third-party model going offline.
07Generative AI
- 01Output is produced through third-party model providers. Prompts and reference files are sent to those providers as needed to run the request.
- 02Results are probabilistic. The Company does not guarantee quality, likeness, or fitness for a commercial use. Whether credits return after a failed job follows the in-product notice.
- 03The Company does not review every Output in advance and may remove illegal or infringing Content or limit use.
- 04Members must not generate or distribute a real person's likeness, name, or voice without consent, create sexual content involving minors, or use the Service to copy others' works without a right to do so.
08Rights in Content
- 01Rights in prompts and files a Member uploads stay with the Member. The Member must have the right to submit them.
- 02The Member may use Output, subject to any extra terms of the third-party model.
- 03The Company may store, copy, transmit, and display Content to operate, secure, and support the Service. Use for marketing needs a separate consent.
- 04After withdrawal, copies already sent to a processor or records the law requires the Company to keep may remain for that period.
09Credits and paid use
- 01Some generation features consume Credits. Balance and spend appear in the Service.
- 02If paid credits or a subscription are offered, price, payment method, and refund terms will be shown before purchase. The web Service does not use app-store in-app purchase.
- 03Refunds, once paid products exist, follow the electronic-commerce rules and the posted terms, and are filed at support@sceny.app. Credits already spent on generation may not be refundable.
- 04Credits may lapse if the account is suspended or closed for a Terms breach.
10Member duties
Members must not do any of the following.
- Steal accounts or farm credits with extra accounts
- Bypass security or rate limits on the Service or a third-party model
- Generate or spread illegal, violent, hateful, or fraudulent Content
- Infringe intellectual-property, likeness, or privacy rights
- Resell the Service without permission or send automated bulk requests
11Company duties
The Company works to keep the Service available and to protect personal information under the Privacy Policy. Paid products, when offered, will state what is sold and at what price. Contact: support@sceny.app
12Change and interruption
The Company may change features or stop a feature when a vendor contract ends. Material changes are announced in advance when reasonably possible.
13Termination
A Member may close the contract through the profile or another path the Service provides. The Company may limit or end use for a breach. Personal information is then destroyed under the Privacy Policy.
14Limitation of liability
- 01The Company is not liable for failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including outages at a carrier, cloud, or AI provider.
- 02The Company is not liable for the substance of Output, a Member's expected commercial result, or disputes among Members.
- 03For free features, the Company is not liable except for willful misconduct or gross negligence.
15Notices and disputes
- 01The Company gives notice by email or in the Service.
- 02These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Lawsuits are filed in the court with jurisdiction over the Company's principal office.
- 03These Terms take effect on August 30, 2026.
